Downton Abbey...

I finished season two last night...and let's just say I have had bags under my eyes for a little over a week!

But it is so good. I couldn't wait to crawl in bed around 11:30 every night to watch an episode while Mitch & James were fast asleep. Honestly, either really early in the morning or really late at night is the only free time I get, unless I'm slangin' coffee for the man---but that doesn't really count as free time.

I won't spoil anything about the finale of season 2 just in case you're still watching, or planning on getting into the series...but seriously, I was having major UK envy last night as they had their Downton Abbey SEASON 3 premiere. Too bad us yankees have to wait until January 2013!

What about you? Do you love D.A? Or are you very much like my dear Mitchell & agree you find the show too "booooring" (Homer Simpson voice).

ps-I have to admit, I've been talking more proper lately because of DA...and have been calling my son by his full name because it sounds so English-y! Such as, "James Arthur, do not pull Teddy's tail!"  Am I right?

Pretty Little Liars...

Yup. I'm a full blown addict. My cousin said "that show is crack for girls", and I'm seriously beginning to believe him!

It hasn't gotten too outta hand-I mean, I still make sure James is fed and tucked in bed before I sit down and watch an episode or two (or four), but the show is so horrible, it's good! I can't help myself! Know what I mean? It has a little bit of something all high school girls have experienced, except there's fancy clothes, insane plot twists, and young adults playing high school girls in a dramatic show about murder, lies, romance, and revenge. Yup. Crack for girls. Or just plain ol' crap tv. But so so good just the same.

So now that I finished the first season (thanks Netflix), I'm now struggling to find a way to get caught up to third season. And who knows when good ol' Netflix will get the other seasons! (thanks jerks).

So today, I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs, racking my brain for ideas on how to keep watching PLL, and sighing heavily because I want to know more...pretty sure those are characteristics of an addict, yes?

These days...

car commercials like these have Mitch & I tearing up. YES...tearing up! When these ads came on tv we both looked at each other and we both had watery eyes! I love totally unplanned moments like that...

I think we love being parents so much we forget we're parents until we see commercials like these and then we are reminded of how amazing this thing called parenthood really is! And I love that we own one of these cars. Way to go stinkin' ad people! Way to go...

"Is it safe?"

"You know he's got your smile."
