6 months...

This kid is getting too big, too fast. And did somebody hit the fast-forward button on life? I feel like I can't keep up! For instance, he turned 6 months on AUGUST 13th. Oh well . Better late than never, right?

Well son, you have accomplished SO much this past month. You started solid foods, which has been going so well! When we sat you down to eat, you immediately took to it! It's like you knew what yummy goodness was in store! You weren't too thrilled with the 'summer mixed veggies' at first, but you LOVED bananas! *note to self, do not give babies fruit in the evening---they will stay wide awake from the natural sugar for hours*

And with that came drinking water from your own sippy cup. We're still getting the hang of which one works best for you. You like the one with the straw, but at times you prefer the one with a spout.

You are now wearing 6-9 month clothes, still fitting into size 3 diapers (thank you nana for the 250 you sent!), and you are kind of outgrowing your carseat. It just seems a little small for you at this point. We are looking into moving up to the next stage, which I'm sure your shoulders and long legs will appreciate!

Other than that, you're a happy bubbly baby boy. Except for those awful days of teething.
