San Diego Day 2...

I am finally getting around to telling you all about DAY 2!

So we got ready & checked out of our hotel at the very last minute possible (noon) and went to Balboa Park. Of course we stopped at a Starbucks, which was located in North Park. I really want to go back & explore North Park sometime, it had so many eclectic shops!

So off we went! Spending a few hours walking around & exploring the park with Teddy was fun! He kept trying to get the lily pads out of the ponds & then he even walked into a fountain to play in the water! (Also, this dog looks just like Teddy. It's a blog for the Balboa Park lovin' dogs!).

After Balboa, we went about 4 miles north to Old Town San Diego. The last time I came to Old Town I was 14 years old! We walked around checking out all the shops & it wasn't long before Mitch bought a knife & I bought Teddy an authentic Mexican blanket. We then made our way home to Fullerton, well rested & full of happiness because San Diego was the best! We can't wait to go back...
