So my dad is pretty great. He came down to visit me from Arizona this past week to help me out around the house, go with me to the cardiologist, buy groceries & cook. He also got to spend Thanksgiving with me. I was extremely thankful for that. We got to talk, laugh, cry and pray together...things I realize I cherish deeply. He shared with me memories from when I was a kid, memories of his childhood, experiences and old friends he had in high school, and how much we are blessed by each day GOD gives us to live. I had a woderful time, in midst of my curiosity about what's going on with my heart and stress level.
"For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." - Romans 8:18
Love you Dad :)
It was a blessing and privilage to visit with you in a time of need. God is good and I will never forget the memories we created during the Thanksgiving Holiday. It makes me really appreciate you and the rest of the family and reflect on how fortunate one is to have family members close by and not miles apart from one another. Our time together will always be cherished by me. I read this today and it really moved my spirit..."God has an important purpose for you, and made everything possible for you to succeed. That's not to say it's an easy purpose, or a convenient one. It might very well seem hard or even impossible, but it only looks that way. The truth is that one day you will look back and see how all the pieces fit together. And how your life has been a complete and utter success." I have already realized this to be true more many times in my life and so will you! Love and Hugs and Peace...Dad *<|:o)> Merry Christmas 2009 Jesus
