So I had to create an Oppositional Ad for my critical thinking class & this is it. My essay was on wether or not we (Californians) should vote yes on prop 2. Well, it passed & this is the idea that came to be. In order to link the consumer/voter to the product/problem I took a picture in a grocery store of a hand (Thanks Mitch!) grasping for the product of a composite of graphic imagery showing factory farm immorality. The pictures are gross: de-beaked chicks so they dont hurt each other by being so close together in pens, tethered necks, & even a dead chicken on eggs that were hatched for grocery stores. Eew, I know. I think I pulled it off, was super anxious to get the presentation over with-but was excited to do an assignment like this to get the creative juices flowing.
