So I woke up yesterday at 6:45am, made my hubby some breakfast (a RARE thing since I wake up so early for Starbucks), and after he left I spent some time with my GOD. I really wanted to crawl back to bed with the soft, clean sheets and snuggle up with the feather pillow, but instead I decided to read Matthew 27 & it was one of the best devotions I've had in a long time. I wished I could have devotion time like that more often, and I got an insight into what it is truly like to wake up early & spend time with GOD. It really hit me as I sat there so comfy & cozy with my hot coffee, bible & the crisp wind coming in thru the window...I was calm & enjoying my life, and in Matthew 27 Christ was being sacrificed so that I can enjoy my security- both in my home & in him, all so that I will one day join him in heaven. I was thankful and was ready to spend my day knowing that all the grief & pain he experienced was for me, and all I have to do is share that-thru my life & love. So Simple.

I love those mornings! It's always such a blessing when you do set that time aside to get into and delve deep into God's word. I'm gonna do that tomorrow morning
