Baby Birdy

So I've been wanting to post this for a while & haven't gotten around to doing it... so here I go! I took this a few weeks ago when the birds ( there were 2!) were learning how to fly in hopes of venturing off on their own & leaving the nest. You can see the mommy bird on the far right side, in very top of the frame sitting in the nest. The baby (1 out of 2) is sitting on the ledge. This is our patio & these are our first WILD pets. & to be honest, I actually am not sure if this is the birdy that Mitch scared off the patio & into the bushes across the street or if it's the one that still hangs out sometimes on our patio (IT IS HUGE NOW!). That bird that Mitch scared into flying early was NEVER to be seen again & all I can say is I hope it is alright... or at least a cat or possum somewhere is full & not going hungry.
